My take on: Zilean, the Chronokeeper

Hello MOBAHub! It's Tuesday, so get ready for another "My take" on a free champion in LoL this week. My choice this week is actually important, because I realized the past champions iv'e been doing have been "harder" then most people are used to, and i got a comment from a friend saying i should focus more on some of the better starting characters, rather then the harder ones. So for this week, we're gonna go back in time a bit to one of the original champions of the League. Meet Zilean, the chronokeeper.

Now playing: Realm of the Titans

So you can all thank Munch for getting me out of LoL and into this new MOBA. I played it before, but it was ridiculously broken back then. If what Munch says is true, and its seems "more like a complete product", it should be a really fun game, and ill be sure to let you all know my feedback. Wish me luck!

Realm of the Titans is back!

Aeria Games first foray into the MOBA genre, Realm of the Titans, is back for ANOTHER round of Closed Beta! I’m working on getting some extra beta accounts to hopefully auction off to our readers, and I should have some by next week. I just got done playing a bunch of matches and they’ve done some very good tweeks to the game to make it much, MUCH better. There’s also a TON of new champions and it feels like an overall much more complete product. I’ll give you more information as I’m allowed to, so stay posted!

Interested in Writing for us??

As you probably have noticed, a new face has shown up on MOBAHub! “Trap-Kun,” is one of our resident League of Legend’s Players, and has been giving his take on various champions. However, MOBAHub is still looking for more people to join us! If you’re interested, shoot me an email at jsct6589@gmail.com . If you could give us a brief sample of your writing prowess, that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for staying dedicated to our site and/or checking us out in general!

My take on: Cho'Gath, the Terror of the Void

Alright guys, it's Tuesday again, which means it's time for a "My take" on a free champion this week on League of Legends. There are alot of good picks this week, like Annie, Ashe, and Amumu (which all start with "A" ironically) but i decided to give in to a soft spot of mine. So brace yourselves, were diving into Hell itself to talk about LoL's most demonic champion: Cho'Gath, the Terror of the Void.

Pros and Cons : Jungling. Also FIRST POST

Hey there people of MOBAHub! This is my first post to this blog, and ill make sure its a DAMN good one!

Alright, so lets tackle a big issue most people have a hard time understanding: Jungling. For those of you who are new to games like LoL, or just have never seen it done, Jungling is when a character goes into the jungle to kill neutral creeps rather then go to a lane. The strategy behind this is that there will be two lanes with 1 person, meaning its like having 2 solo lanes, which means MOAR EXP! On top of that, you also have one member of the team constantly MIA (or SS, wherever your from), which is great if the character is a good ganker, such as Amumu or Lee Sin. Seems like a pretty great strategy and all, but with all strategies come flaws.

Rise of Immortals gets “Steamed”

About a week or so ago, I wrote an article on my opinions on Rise of Immortals (Read it here). In it, I admit, I kind of trashed it. However, most of my biggest frustrations came from the inability to actually play the game. Apparently, I wasn’t the only one who was upset about this and Petroglyph Games apparently heard. They have now brought their game to Steam of all things! Hit the jump to here more.

Winners and Losers in the Xerath Patch

As with every patch, there are winners and there are losers. I guess there’s also people who are relatively unaffected as well, but that’s not important, lol. Here, I’ll give you a quick overview of who came out with signifcant buffs and who came out of this patch truly hurting. Hit the jump to find out more.

Thoughts on–Xerath, The Magus Ascendant

League of Legends has unleashed their latest champion, Xerath, The Magus Ascendant! Many people are anxious to try him out and see what he brings to the table and I have thankfully been able to play several games as him, in 5v5s, 3v3s, and Dominion. I’ll be giving my opinion and thoughts on his usefulness, his playstyle, and his overall fun level, in all 3 game modes. I feel that each champion plays differently, depending on the format you are playing in. Also, take note that I did NOT play ANY ranked games with him, so this is coming from just standard matches. Not to be a dick, but you REALLY shouldn’t play the new champion in the first week of his/her release. Riot hot-patches a lot of little nuances with the champs and this tends to fluxuate throughout. Also, NO ONE is THAT good with a champion after a few hours/days of playing them. Give it a week people, lol
